The board was planned in an inspired planning session where we talked as much about great bass players as about the board and the pedals. That really helped us to find the mood and the musical landscape we were after, which further helped us to plan the signal chain to best serve that purpose. 

We left the board a bit sparse in case the client wanted to do some additions in the future. This also makes the board a bit easier to use, as there's plenty of room around each and every pedal, and one doesn't have to aim so carefully to not hit the controls on the next pedal while stomping on the pedals' switches.
